After a long awaited arrival, Emily finally has a red merle BC! Red Ryder at Real Pearl just arrived all the way from Hungary, thanks to his breeder Judit Papp, who was so gracious in letting us bring him to the USA. He was born on November 16, 2006. He encompasses some of the most well known American, Australian, and English lines. We have high hopes that he will turn heads and let the world know that BC's do come in other colors!At the 2007 BCSA National Specialty Sparky placed 2nd in the 9-12 month Puppy Dog class on Sunday and was put into 5th place on Saturday! Quite a big accomplishment for the only red merle that competed in conformation!NEWS!!! Sparky finished his Championship easily on Valentine's Day, Feb. 2009. One of his big wins along the way was winning WD at the 2008 Border Collie Club of Northern California Specialty! Sparky spent several years at herding camp with Dawna Sims in Dewey, AZ. He earned his many titles while he was there the top titles include AHBA Herding Champion in October 2012, AKC HXAs and HIAd, and ASCA WTCH in 2014! Sparky is available at stud to approved bitches. His puppies all have great temperaments several in performance venues doing agility, herding, and obedience. Most everyone has said that he produces better then himself as a stud and I do agree. Please feel free to inquire privately.
