Carey - CH Pawcific Merry Miss Carey

Carey has had a great career both in the show ring, as a junior handler dog, and as a producer. 

She originally was sold to another breeder, who in the end returned her as things changed in their breeding program.  Pictured above at 4-5 months of age.

When I got her back, she was leased by Susan Lassila for her first litter out of Ch Shadowalk Phi-V Alexander.  This litter produced two Champions and some very special companions.  While she was at Dixie's house being bred to Alex, Dixie showed her for the first time and picked up her first points (pictured above)!

After that litter, we started to seriously work on finishing her.  In Aug. 2008, she received that final point towards her Championship.  Along the way, my sister, Brittany, took on Carey as her Juniors dog and won many placings with her career highlight of being Best Junior Handler at the CWCCA National in 2007 (pictured below).  She also showed Carey to some of her points and two BOB wins.  Pictured above is at the beginning of her show career with a BOB win out of the classes.

After her career was over as a show dog, she had one last litter.  This litter was something I had planned for years.  She was bred to the late, Aust Ch Wynrik Drum Major.  Unfortunately the timing was a bit off, so we only ended up with one puppy.  That puppy became Lincoln, CH Pawcific Signed Sealed Delivered.  A very special boy, who has had some fabulous wins along the way, and I am sure has many more to come!

Carey is definitely a very special girl here at Pawcific.
