Debbie- Am CH Windermere's Debonair

Although we no longer own "Debbie," she is near and dear to our hearts as she holds the distinction of being our first Cardigan. Am CH Windermere's Debonair was purchased from Stewart & Judy Williams of Windermere Cardigans in 1995. She was shown in the USA and then moved with us to Australia in 1997. At that point she had 14 points and it wasn't until we returned to the USA in 1999 that she won that final point.  

While in Australia, we bred her to a lovely sable dog, Aust Ch Finlai Cedar Beau and she produced 7 puppies. We kept two, a dog Pawcific Justa Legend PT and a bitch Am CH Pawcific Justa Dream and brought them with us back to the USA. Dream is now owned by Mrs. Charles L. Scherer Jr. She gained her American Champion title very quickly with 3 five point majors. Her first day out as a special, she won BOB at a CWCCA supported entry show under breeder judge Helen Jones.  

Debbie was bred to another Australian dog, Aust CH Llandwyn Top Notch just before we returned to the USA. She whelped another healthy litter of 7 puppies in March 1999. Naming the whole litter after the towns we lived in and around in Australia, we kept a lovely bitch, Am CH Pawcific Wishes For Wingello. A litter sister, Am CH Pawcific Post-it From Penrose was purchased by Matt and Kim Rauber of Coedwig Cardigans. 

Debbie will always be special to us as she was our start in Cardigans.
