We were fortunate to purchase 'Ash' when we moved to Australia in January 1997 from Lisa & Tim Brack of Ruatha Cardigans. She is trained and shown by Emily, with help from sister Jenny. We are very proud to have imported 'Ash' to the USA.

|
When we left Australia in December 1998, Ash had 21 Best of Breed wins to her credit and 278 CC points in the 16 months she was shown there. Her Australian career highlights include:
-
BOB 1997 Illawarra Welsh Corgi Club Specialty Show at nine months of age.
(pictured above)
-
BOB & Junior in Group at 1997 ACT Ladies Kennel Club show under corgi specialist Mr. A.
Searston.
-
BOB, Runner-up Best in Group & Intermediate in Group at 1998 BABKC show under International judges.
-
BOB 1998 Canberra Royal Show.
-
Won Australian Bred In Breed at the 1998 Australian National Welsh Corgi Show.

In January 1999, three weeks after we arrived in the USA, we showed her at the CWCCA supported entry show in Portland, Oregon. She won Winners Bitch for a five point major.
(pictured below)
She took some time off during the summer and had a litter of 4 lovely puppies by our own Pawcific Justa
Legend PT. One of the pups, a classic tri male, Pawcific The Rainbow
Serpent went to a home where we can still use him in our future breeding
program. 'Ash' got herself back in shape for the show ring and in January 2000 finished her American Championship as well as winning
BOS. The next weekend as a Champion she went BOS twice at shows with a large Cardigan entry of 26 including 6 specials.

Ash had her second litter out of Am/Can CH Shadowalk Phi-Vestavia Ikon.
We kept one boy named CH Pawcific Good Ole'
Owain TD, PT and a tri girl named CH Pawcific Merry Miss
Carey. Click on their names to go to their
individual pages.

Flash! Ash
finishes her CD in just 5 shows! Emily handled her to her first leg
and Kathy handled her to her second and third leg! Not too bad for a
lazy lap dog.
|
|
|
Flash! Ash's first
time in the ring as a veteran she wins Best of Opposite in Veteran Sweepstakes
under Kim Shira of Coedwig Cardigans handled expertly by junior handler
Brittany Fish!
|
Ash's last addition to the cardigan world was welcomed on
Feb 4, 2004. The proud father is Ch Shadowalk Ph-V Alexander.
Gwen, Pawcific Sent From Heaven, is a miracle puppy
considering that Ash was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks before she was
born. We have high hopes for this black & white girl.
|
Ash is now retired and will always be Emily's number one
companion.
Flash! Ash comes out of
retirement to do some Rally with Emily and finished her RN in 3 shows.
She also moved up to Advanced and received her first leg towards her next
title. Congrats Ash & Emily!

Ash is still going strong at the tender age of 10!
She won her 5th Best Opp in Veteran Sweepstakes under breeder/judge Kathy
Schwabe at Richland KC 2006! (pictured above)

Ash is still going strong! Here she is in Feb. 2008
